Paper Title: Coronal and Interplanetary Magnetic Fields in Coronal Ejecta in October-November 2004 Author List: Vasyl Yurchyshyn Abstract: We will discuss the structure of the magnetic fields in the super events on October 28, 29 and November 18 2003 by combining space- (SOHO, TRACE, RHESSI, ACE) and ground- (BBSO DMG, Halpha) based data. The orientation of the corresponding magnetic clouds at 1AU will be mapped onto the relevant active regions with a correction for the angle between the ecliptic and equatorial planes. This mapping will give us approximate orientation of the flux rope when it was launched, provided that it was created in the solar corona and the orientation is preserved during its propagation through the interplanetary media. We will use these data to infer the magnetic topology of the source regions and magnetic fields involved in eruption.
