Title: Thermal Plasma Parameters from RHESSI Observations

Abstract: Results from the analysis of RHESSI spectral observations
using the latest Chianti code will be presented for the events under
study in Group 6. The full spectral range will be used, including the
iron and iron/nickel line complexes. Estimates will be made of the
temperature and emission measure from the continuum, and the iron
abundance from the line equivalent widths. Images will be reconstructed
over narrow energy bands to determine the extent of the thermal emission
in order to estiamte a source area and emitting volume. Uncertainties
and difficulties remaining in this analysis will be discussed in detail,
and comparisons will be made with observations of the thermal plasma at
other wavelengths.
