Collapsing Magnetic Trap Model for Coronal HXR Sources

Abstract:
I would like to review the physical processes (the Fermi acceleration
and betatron acceleration of electrons and ions, Coulomb collisions, HXR
emission) in collapsing magnetic traps generated by fast reconnection in
super-hot turbulent-current layers in flares. The main attension will be
paid to the observational predictions of the model and possibilities to
compare these predictions with the RHESSI observations.
