To what extent can we determine the flows in an active region by observing changes in the magnetic field at the photosphere?
Movie of 8210 evolving - clearly there are motions, describe them  qualitatively.  Ask these questions:  To what extent is it possible to use sequences of magnetograms and vector magnetograms to determine the 3-d velocity field simply by observing changes in the pattern from a sequence of magneograms?
