From San Francisco Airport
From airport exit take Highway 101 North into San Francisco. In San Francisco, take Highway 80 East across the Bay Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs to Highway 24 East, towards Walnut Creek. Continue on Highway 24 for about 4 miles, through the Caldecott Tunnel; be sure to be in the right lane of the right bore of the Tunnel.
After the Caldecott Tunnel, take the first exit on Fish Ranch Road
which then crosses back over Highway 24. Proceed to the four-way stop;
make a right turn on Grizzly Peak Blvd. Proceed about three miles to
the intersection (four-way stop) with Centennial Drive. Turn left on
Centennial, go about 150 yards to the
Space Sciences Laboratory
driveway on the left.
From Oakland Airport
Airport Drive, the exit road from the airport , becomes Hegenberger Road. From Hegenberger Road, take Highway 880 North towards Oakland. In downtown Oakland, merge from Highway 880 to 980 to Highway 24 East, towards Walnut Creek, through the Caldecott Tunnel. Be sure to be in the right lane of the right bore of the tunnel.
