>sdt

If the sdt program can not be found, type the following:

> source /disks/fast/software/integration/setup

This will source the FAST integration workspace. Once this is done, try typing sdt again.

**It takes about a minute for sdt to load. In the upper left hand corner of your screen the sdt Graphical User Interface (GUI) will appear

Selecting from recent DPS data sessions

With your mouse pointer in the PLOT WINDOW (not one of the PLOTS), click on the right-most mouse button. The window that appears will have a selection called "File Select....". Click on "File Select....". This will present you with a directory listing and the contents of a selected directory. The most recent FAST data sessions are in the directory "/disks/cdstudio2/DANET". If this is not already available in the directory window, you can enter the directory and click on "Add". When the directory is listed in the directory window and is selected, a larger window will appear showing the CD's in that directory. Click on a CD name and the screen will change to show the directories within that CD. Click on "lzp" to list the DPS data sessions on that CD. The data sessions will then appear in a new window and will be listed with an orbit number and time span. Click on a selected orbit number/timespan. In the next window that appears you can alter the timespan plotted (if desired), then click on "Set" to plot the data. It should take a few seconds for the data to plot.

Using the data manager

With your mouse pointer in the PLOT WINDOW (not one of the PLOTS), click on the right-most mouse button The window that appears will have a selection called "Data Manager". Click on "Data Manager". It takes about a minute for the data manager window to appear. From this window you can select data via orbit number, orbit range, timespan, etc. The data is retrieved from the jukeboxes and hard disks for plotting.
