Analysis of optical phenomena in the upper atmosphere:
- Auroral observations from the ground and from space
- Observation of airglow from the ground and from space
- Observation of Transient Luminous Events (TLE, like sprites, elves, halos) from space
- combination of satellite and ground data
- investigation of the dynamics and creation of auroral arcs.
