This directory contains WIND/3DP data products.
Each directory above contains a single data product type
for one of six instruments in the 3DP suite.
All files are Common Data Format (CDF)
INDEX:
pm PESA LOW 1 spin resolution ion moments (computed on spacecraft).
plsp PESA LOW (~24 sec resolution) energy spectra with ion moments.
elsp EESA LOW omni directional electron energy spectra.
elpd EESA LOW electron pitch angle distributions with moments.
elsp EESA LOW electron omni directional energy spectra.
phsp PESA HIGH ion omni directional energy spectra.
ehsp EESA HIGH electron omni directional energy spectra.
sfsp SST FOIL energetic electron omni directional energy spectra.
sfpd SST FOIL energetic electron pitch angle distributions.
Special note:
We are in the process of re-organizing our file system.
Some of the directories above may be empty (or specific years may be empty).
The files are still available!
They just haven't been moved into the proper directories yet.
If you wish to search for these files on your own, please follow the directory
structure on one of many scattered disks located here.
(I recommend starting on "d12" as that is the largest disk)
There is also an index directory that will provide clues
to the location of individual files.
I apologize for this (temporary) inconvenience but there
are literally tens of thousands of files that need to be moved and it is a slow process.
You may also use this site to access other Instrument databases by going up the
directory structure.
