Self Portrait on the Crane Beach

I am an Assistant Research Scientist at the Space Sciences Laboratory, UC Berkeley. My research focuses on space physics and planetary space weather. I use 3D numerical models as well as ground-based and space-based observations to understand the dynamic space weather conditions at Earth and other planets throughout the solar cycle. Currently, I am involved in the MAVEN mission to study the effects of solar energetic particles (SEPs) and coronal mass ejections (CMEs) on the upper atmosphere of Mars.
