QUICKLOOK LIGHTCURVES:
This format is good for finding rear and front segment decimation steps, attenuator motions, sunrise/sunset, etc. Rear decimation appears as up and down steps in the 50-100 (gold) and 100-300 keV (red) channels. Attenuator motions tend to affect the 4 lowest-energy channels while front segment decimation changes usually affect the first 2 or 3. Sunset is marked by "E" for "Eclipse", and "S" is for "SAA" (data off).
DAILY MONITOR RATES (FRONT, THEN REAR):
SAA = South Atlantic Anomaly (trapped particles)
e- = electron precipitation event
G8 = Detector G8 noisy due to aft antenna transmission.
This data format is good for finding background events (SAA, precipitation), shutter motions, and times when G8 should not be used.
HUGH'S ANNOTATED GOES PLOT:
SAM'S RHESSI + GOES/WIND:
The RHESSI spectrogram makes shutter movements, front segment decimation steps, and electron precipitation storms fairly clear (the latter show little below 20 keV; they look very much like the upper green blob at 01:50, which is actually the end of the SAA pass).
