We received the official selection letter today! A total of 118 proposals which includes both Supporting Research and Technology (SR&T) and Low Cost Access to Space (LCAS) were competing for $4.6M for FY 2008. We were one of only four LCAS proposals that were funded. First-year LCAS funding averaged about $325K which is close to what we were asking. Funding should begin early 2008. Can’t wait to get started!

FOXSI Selected!
Received an “unofficial” email from the Alexei Pevtsov at NASA headquarters informing us that FOXSI has been selected. This is great news!
