Jim McTiernan is looking into this problem. - Next week’s tohban should also check SCM FBK data for this period. Currently, data are missing. - Can we avoid that PBursts be triggered at the FS-SS transition? No, because it is a hardware design to always trigger at this boundary, and thus it cannot be removed. - Memory saturation continues to occur on TH-A, B, and C. This seems to be of concern, especially for TH-C, because it is the only probe at ~20 Re. - There were maneuvers on TH-A, B and C Tohban approved the following configuration changes =================================================== - Increase the voltage on the ESA B and E MCPs to 0x8C on the ions and on B only to 0x9C on the electrons. Then run gain test on both instruments outside 8Re – this can be done in the ATS. - On probes A, D, and E, change the survey memory size to 115 MB and the burst to 69 MB. Reduce the number of particle bursts collected to 6. Note this will clear all existing packets in memory and so this needs to occur with an empty memory. - Open the SST attenuators (all probes) at distances greater than 10Re. Close them for distances less than 10Re. Commanding to be done via RTS. - Set the SST bias to 0xA0 for all spacecraft.
