RHESSI tohban report, August 12, 2002 Steven Christe, Paula Balciunaite Spacecraft: nominal Solar activity: Very low activity during the entire week, especially over the weekend. A small M class flare occurred on 8/11 ~12:00 UT. A new active region has just rotated over the southeast limb. It is believed to be the same AR which produced M class events during its last appearance so solar activity is expected to increase. Ground station: Friday (8/9) there were some problems with signal reception during the last pass. Friday (8/9) there were some problems with the antenna, which was not returning to the correct position at the end of the pass. Problems continued over the weekend though it did not affect data reception. Attenuator operation: A03 -> A013 Tuesday (8/6) 218/16:14 Observing campaigns: VLA (8/9 1600-2000 UT), no shutter motions or data deletions were required. There is another VLA campaign coming up, this week's (week of 8/12) tohban will clarify the exact dates. Memory management: We were able to keep the shutter out the entire week starting Tuesday. This is probably our longest continuous shutter-open period since launch. SSR Levels are currently at a record low and went down to 0% on 8/12, even after almost a week at A013. Tohban next week: Brian Dennis
