The GOES baseline rose to ~B8 level, where it was for most of the week; then fell again to ~B6 level over the weekend. There were 32 C flares and 2 M flares, at least the peaks of which were captured by RHESSI, with the exception of the June 12 M flare, when the peak was lost. (2) Memory management SSR fill started at 13% on Monday and increased throughout the week (with one exception: on Tuesday it was 1%) due to solar activity, reaching 54% on Thursday. Thus the decimation scheme was switched to active/active on Friday morning, 1am local time. However, an M1.4 flare occurred after the last downlink Friday morning, and the SSR fill rose to 59%. It decreased slightly during the weekend, finishing at 45%. The options for reducing the SSR fill even more can be discussed during today's meeting. (3) Data gaps Mark noticed a data gap on Wednesday that was due to a bug in their scripts. The read pointer was skipped back Wednesday night, and no data was lost. This was actually part of the cause for the 1% to 54% jump in SSR fill from Tuesday to Wednesday night (the other part, as mentioned, was the increase in solar activity).
