RHESSI Tohban report, 23-Feb-2004 to 1-Mar-2004 Paula Balciunaite, balciunaite@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar activity Activity began to pick up mid-day Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday were (relatively) very active days: we had an X1.1, an M5.7, and 5 C flares with full or nearly full RHESSI coverage. The X flare was fully captured! Activity began to decline again on Friday and is now at around B2 level. Next week doesn't look very promising, with only one notable active region on the disk. How many GOES flares occurred? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 40 23 1 1 And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 12 14 1 1 And how many had EXCELLENT coverage? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 11 7 0 1 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 93 / 65 over the time range 22-Feb-04 29-Feb-04 2. Memory management SSR fill did not exceed a bit above 30% on the active days, and is now at 27%. It doesn't look as if a decimation state change will be necessary for the next week. 3. Data gaps There are data gaps starting mid-day on February 27th; operators are notified.
