RHESSI Tohban report, 17-May-2004 to 24-May-2004 Hugh Hudson, hhudson@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar Activity: How many GOES flares occurred? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 31 18 0 0 And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 14 14 0 0 And how many had EXCELLENT coverage? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 11 8 0 0 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 58 / 49 over the time range 16-May-04 23-May-04 Somehow the GEV database missed the M-class flare of May 21/22, which RHESSI observed. The QL flare-finding seems to be trucking along at about the GOES flare rate. The flag-setting for catalog entries probably is non uniform, eg: There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 160 / 49 over the time range 14-May-02 21-May-02 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 55 / 25 over the time range 14-May-03 21-May-03 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 42 / 44 over the time range 14-May-04 21-May-04 2. Memory Managment: Not a problem. Particle rates are down. 3. Data Gaps: None in QL plots 4. Operations: * The accelerometer levels are now about 35 mG in the daily averages. * G2 mostly showed data on the status pages. Has anybody made an image yet? 5. How do the data look? Fine. Interesting QL cases: 17 May 09:45, 17:00 22 May 06:20, 17:25 23 May x09:05 6. Next week's tohban: Paula Balciunaite
