RHESSI Tohban report, 13-June-2005 to 20-June-2005 Gordon Hurford 1. Overview: RHESSI remained pointed at the pulsar 3A 0535+262 throughout this period. From June 12 through June 14 23:20, the offset was ~0.5 degrees. One orbit of active offpointing then brought it to ~0.25 degrees where it has remained with very little drift. The offset was confirmed by grid 9 'mapping'. 2. Solar Activity Solar activity has been relatively low. A total of 15 C-class and one M4 flares occurred while we were on the pulsar this week. Some of this activity was seen by cross-grid transmission. 3. Memory Management On June 13, the commands that decimate the rear segments at high latitudes were removed to provide more complete anticoincidence coverage for front segment events. As a result, the SSR level has been gradually increasing to a value of 53% at the end of the period. Note that the current scheme calls for no SSR-based decimation until it reaches 90%. 4. Decimation See above. 5. Data Gaps There were 1-orbit gaps in monitor rates on June 14 and 15. 6. Misc 7. Next week's Tohban: Hugh Hudson
