Tohban report, 28-Nov-2005 to 5-Dec-05 Hugh Hudson, hhudson@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar Activity Activity was not low. But not really high, either: How many GOES flares occurred? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 17 11 5 0 And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 8 8 5 0 And how many had EXCELLENT coverage? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 6 4 2 0 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 75 / 33 over the time range 26-Nov-05 03-Dec-05 This activity seems to reflect new flux emergence in the regions of last month's activity. 2. Memory Managment Memory rose above 50% because of the enhanced activity, but has been dropping over the weekend to below 30% at BGS end. Decimation at "active vigourous" might be reduced if things get progressively better. 3. Data Gaps None. 4. Operations No special activities, not counting the AGU. 5. Nuggets. Part II of the Phllips-Chifor on RHESSI soft X-ray spectra, released Monday Dec. 5. Next Tohban: Jim McTiernan
