Solar Activity Active region 10960, which had been the source of much activity the previous week, has died down considerably and is nearly over the limb. The Sun is likely to be quiet for the near future. How many GOES flares occurred? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 54 12 2 0 And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 19 10 1 0 And how many had EXCELLENT coverage? Flares above B, C, M, X class were 14 5 0 0 There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 34 / 68 over the time range 04-Jun-07 12-Jun-07 2. Memory Management For the Crab Nebula offpointing, decimation is currently in Crab mode and thus the SSR is likely to fill up somewhat quickly (currently empty). 3. Data Gaps None noted. 4. Spacecraft Operations The spacecraft began offpointing operations on June 11 (local) and is almost at the Crab Nebula. Crab observations will continue for the next week or so. 5.
