RHESSI Tohban report, 1-Jul-2007 to 11-Jun-2007 Hugh Hudson, hhudson@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar Activity We had a surprise patch of real activity, commencing suddenly July 12. No M-class events but quite a few C's. The region is an old-cycle region currently nearing disk center. The tohban has confirmed that the shutters still work. HSI_TOHBAN_FLARE_COUNTER does not work because the flare list is not currently being updated. GOES archives are also not being updated and the GOES-based Browser plots aren't either. An inquiry has been launched. Kim fields bug reports on this. 2. Memory Management Under control, nominal range 0-20%. 3. Data Gaps None noted. 4. Spacecraft Operations Nothing special. Data survey showed... * An interesting arc event (oxymoron, I'm sure) 04:50 6-July. Looks like a flare. The question of SAS telemetry during the anneal was discussed. Nobody could see any clear reason why SAS should not get all it wants at this time. 5. Science discussion Graduate student Takashi Minoshima (U. Tokyo) discussed comparisons of RHESSI hard X-ray and Nobeyama microwave data for an interesting X-class flare, including model calculations of electron transport that could explain the bulk of the observational material. 5.
