RHESSI Tohban report, 2-Mar-2008 to 9-Apr-2008 Iain Hannah, hannah@ssl.berkeley.edu 1. Solar Activity The 3 ARs rotated off the disk by 20:00 05-Apr-2008 and so back to solar min quiet Sun with GOES flat-lining below A-class. Looks like its going to be quiet for a while (from stereo B). There were about 7 B-Class flares before then, (RHESSI only cuaght then ones about 06:00 3-Apr and 11:00 5-Apr) and there was a C-Class flare than RHESSI also caught (01:15 3-Apr-2008). 2. Memory Management Fine, down to 0% at end of passes. Still Normal/Active. 3. Data Gaps Some on the 3rd? 4. Spacecraft Operations Given that it was quiet we did a test run of the shutter experiment to investigate the systematics in the background spectrum. The thick shutter was moved in/out 08:51:27 to 08:56:27 and 09:01:27 to 09:06:27 on 9-Apr. It seems to work and as the sun is still quiet we will probably try to run this further over the next week. 5. Next Tohban: Probably me agin: Iain Hannah
