Solar Activity

Solar activity was high this week. The majority of flares were produced by AR11158 which started the week classified as a beta-gamma-delta region. AR11158 produced 3 M-class flares and a number of C-class flares as it decayed. It has now rotated off the disk. AR11160 produced one M-class flare and a number of C-class flares. Currently solar activity is low. AR's 11150 and 11161 will remain on disk for a couple of days before rotating around the limb.

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      8    37     5     0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      4    22     3     0
