Solar Activity
The Sun was pretty featureless throughout the week. GOES 1-8A was flat. GOES 0.5-4 showed weak signs of life (~A0.6 level) for a few days.
Because of this tiny activity, and because recent 10.7cm flux measurements seem to trend upwards (Cycle 24 - don't panic yet!), Hugh proposed on Monday morning to off-point, in order to try getting an X-Ray reading from RHESSI. Jeremy promptly obliged on 09-104-14:34:04 UT: "The attenuator logic was disabled and the crab decimation scheme was set. We are still collecting front segment data during the eclipse so no changes have been made in that regard. All operations went nominally." We should stay off-pointing for 7-10 days.

MISC.
Cold Plate 2 at 97.5 K. Spin rate at 14.5 rpm: spin up will occur after we return to Sun-pointing, as the smaller angular momentum makes the S/C easier to maneuver.
