Solar Activity

There are two new-cycle active regions on the Sun: 11026 and 11027. Region 11026 produced a few A- and B-class flares, and one C1 flare on Sept. 25 at ~0100 that was observed by RHESSI up to 20 keV. At least three of the smaller flares were also caught by RHESSI.

Memory Management

The SSR reached a max of 25% and is emptying after each pass.

Data Gaps

Problematic Santiago pass yesterday (9/29). Data has been replayed and should be available.

Spacecraft Operations

A spin-up was performed Monday, from ~14.5 rpm to 14.9 rpm. Cold Plate 2 is down slightly due to increased daytime. RHESSI is in normal/active decimation mode.

Other Notes

Pascal Saint-Hilaire gave a presentation explaining his "deep integration" technique for imaging moving sources, as used in the most recent RHESSI science nugget (#111).
