Solar Activity

Some activity, but not a whole lot. An interesting "long duration event" started at about 19:00 UT on 5 July, raised the GOES background from mid A to almost B level, and is visible in the 3-6, 6-12 keV RHESSI count rates.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      4     0     0     0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      2     0     0     0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 3 / 4 over the time range 29-Jun-10 06-Jul-10

RHESSI Operations

Decimation was normal/vigorous for the week. All events are turned off during eclipses. SSR is at 0%. The transmitter power is often above the yellow limit on the status page; currently at 5.557 W.
