Solar Activity

There are currently three active regions on the disk, though only one has been flaring. There were about 28 B class flares in the last week, 14 of which were caught by RHESSI. The only C-class activity consisted of three flares in the last day. Similar flare rates will likely continue through the next week.

Memory Management

The SSR is emptying completely at the end of the daily passes, max 25%.

Data Gaps

There were two large data gaps in the last two days:

Data are on the ground and will be reprocessed. Isolated passes cannot be identified for the gaps; the reason for the gaps is currently unknown.

Spacecraft Status

No commanding changes this week. We remain in normal/vigorous decimation mode, with 4 minutes of data taken on each side of the eclipse.
