Solar Activity

Not much activity, but with an M flare, also a long duration high C event yesterday. The background GOES level is near B3.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 16 2 1 0

RHESSI flare list contains 0 over the time range 31-Jan-12 07-Feb-12

No overlapping RHESSI flares to count, sorry.

RHESSI Operations

RHESSI was rebalanced last week, see

RHESSI_Balance.ppt.

The detectors are still cooling down, so far everything looks good, with expectations for detector turn on in late February -- early March.

Data Gaps

Currently some VC3 gaps, due to inefficient Weilheim passes, some have been lost, some played back:

2012-02-03T08:25:00.000 -- 2012-02-03T11:45:00.000 12000.000 ?

2012-02-05T10:10:00.000 -- 2012-02-05T13:45:00.000 12900.000 ?

2012-02-05T19:50:00.000 -- 2012-02-05T19:55:00.000 300.00000 (lost)

2012-02-06T23:10:00.000 -- 2012-02-06T23:20:00.000 600.00000 (played back)

2012-02-06T23:40:00.000 -- 2012-02-07T00:00:00.000 1200.0000 (played back)

WHM has fixed the problem, and the missing data will be arriving, except for the single 5 minute gap that has been lost.
