Solar Activity

The solar activity is moderate, with 17 C class flares in the past 2 days. There are 9 active regions on disk, with 5 set to rotate off in the coming days. The most active region, with 7 C's is just left of disk center.

With the NuStar launch, the network is slow and the GOES data for the past week is inaccessible. This will be updated with the flare statistics when available. There were 278 RHESSI flares for the time period.

Memory Management

The SSR emptied on passes this week. Currently the SSR is at 5.9%.

Spacecraft Status

The Slow Valid Monitor Rates for G2 mentioned last week were determined to be a symptom of light leak and related to the detector not being segmented.

The SAS reports 10 triggered solar limbs, which is a potential concern.

There was a spinup on 2012-06-08.

Data Gaps

There was one data gap on 2012-06-12 which was filled in.
