Solar Activity

Solar activity was moderate. There are currently 6 sunspots on disk, four of which are going to rotate out of disk in the following days. During the week, active region 11540 hosted 1 M-class flares. Also, a lot of C class flares happened during the week. The current activity level is tengolow-B.

More C-class events are possible as the region continues to decay over the next 24 hours, with a small chance for an isolated low M-class event.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 12 30 1 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 9 21 1 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 5 9 0 0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 256 / 43 over the time range 08-Aug-12 15-Aug-12

Memory Management

During the week the SSR fill level was between 3% and 35%. Reaching a maximum of 35%.

Spacecraft Status

The spacecraft parameters are nominal. No HV commanding this week. We are not currently taking event data during night.

The spacecraft was idle during a couple of ours due to a spin rate related issue on 15 August.
