Solar Activity

Solar Activity this week was moderate with mostly C class flares and a single RHESSI M class event. There were some flares on Oct 15 and Oct 17 which were occulted and showed compact sources over the NE limb. Currently only 2 of the 7 named regions on disk are flaring.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were     14    39     2     0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      6    28     1     0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      3    16     0     0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 291 / 55

Memory Management

SSR has not always been emptying, with ~10% remaining at the end of some passes.

Spacecraft Status

Cold plates 1 and 2 are currently sitting at 108.700K and 107.200K respectively.

Data Gaps

All gaps were filled in except one 15 minute gap on 12 Oct 2012, its data will not be recovered.
