On January 30 at 00:26:07 UT the high voltage of detector 2 was raised by five steps (216 -> 221). The voltage increase went smoothly, but still no segmentation.  There was a very brief increase in noise, then the detector settled back to the levels we were seeing before the voltage increase.

On January 24 at 00:26:07 UTC the high voltage of detector 2 was raised by five steps (211 -> 216). No significant changes where observed in the following changes. The voltage is now at 4215V.

On February 5 at 22:04:13 UT the detector 2 high voltage was raised by another five steps (221 -> 226).  This increase puts G2 at 4411 V, which is now the highest voltage of all our detectors.  After increasing the voltage, there was no indication of segmentation.  There was also no appreciable increase in count rates or reset rates.  Detector 2 still looked good on the next orbit.

Solar Activity

Solar activity was very low this week. There are currently 6 active regions on disk with active regions. Activity is expected to remain low-moderate with a chance for an C class flares in the coming days.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 13 1 0 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 5 1 0 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 4 0 0 0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 82 / 14 over the time range 23-Jan-13 30-Jan-13

Memory Management

The SSR was emptying at the en of the daily passes during the beginning of the week. After operations the SSR fill level was between 0 and 25%.

Spacecraft Status

The cold plate 2 is at 109K respectively. Cryopower about 70 Watts

Spin rate is at 14.8

Data Gaps

Detector issues

On January 24 at 00:26:07 UTC the high voltage of detector 2 was raised by five steps (211 -> 216). No significant changes where observed in the following changes. The voltage is now at 4215V.
