Solar Activity

Solar activity this week was low. There are currently 4 active regions on the disk, which will rotate over the limb within 2-3 days. STEREO-B shows some of active regions close to the limb.

How many GOES flares occurred?

The SSR is emptying by the end of the daily pass set reaching a maximum of ~32 percent.

Spacecraft status is nominal. The cold plate 1 and 2 are at 117.2 K and 115.8 K respectively.


Data Gaps

No data gaps this week.

Detector issues

Detector 2 has a spike on 1 September at about 10:26UT. On September 2 at ~07:16 UT, detector 1 spiked. An attenuator change occurred at the same time and was likely to be trigger by the spike.

Spacecraft Management

A spin up was perform on August 28. The spin up started at 2013-240-20:25 and we transitioned back to normal mode at 241-01:03 UT.RHESSI was spun up from 14.6 to 15.0 RPM.
