Solar Activity

Solar activity this week was moderate. A Major Flare Watch has just been called for AR 12242, currently at disk center, which produced an M8.7 flare within the past day (i.e., it is not included within the following counts).

How many GOES flares occurred?

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
