Solar Activity
We began the week with moderate solar activity that picked up rapidly over the course of a few days. This was followed by a dramatic decrease as the 2 ARs producing all the C and M class activity drastically quieted down. Today activity has picked up again with a few C and an M-class event mostly coming from AR 12277 at disk center. Forecast is for medium solar activity to continue over the next week. There is one AR that rotated on in the past few days, but it isn't very complex.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 45 6 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 0 33 4 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 0 15 0 0
There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 351 / 52 over the time range 21-Jan-15 28-Jan-15
Memory Management
We've stayed in active/vigorous mode all week, but adjusted taking night data to balance the solar activity. Full night events were turned off at 030-00:33 UT and turned back on at Thursday 036-12:00 UTC due to decreased activity. We did not require extra passes. Since solar activity just picked up again, and we started today off at 35%, the Tohban might consider turning off nighttime events again if activity continues.
Spacecraft Status
The spacecraft was nominal this week

The Cryocooler Power Converter Temperature has drifted into the yellow a few times this week at 51.2 C.
Detector issues
D6 front fast threshold was adjusted from default (0x22) due to increased rates. Rates dropped from 3300 to 1250 when the change was made.
