Solar Activity

Solar activity during the week continue at low levels. Currently there are only two active regions on disk with a new one rotating into the disk. Region 2610 was the source of a couple of B class flares. A filament eruption was also observed in GONG and SDO/AIA on November 15 at 14:15 UTC. Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels, with a slight chance for C-class flares during the forecast period (16-18 Nov).

Spacecraft Status

Detectors 3 and 9 are active and taking data. The cold tip 1 and 2 temperatures are 118.6 and 116.7. These temperatures increase about a degree from last week.


Currently the Cryocooler power is ~86.0 W. 13mg acceleration
