Solar Activity

Quiet Sun:

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 14 3 0 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 4 3 0 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 2 1 0 0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 15 / 17 over the time range 07-Feb-17 14-Feb-17

Memory Management

Decimation was normal/vigorous for the full time period, with the SSR at about 30% at the end of each day's contacts, until today (15-feb-2017) when the SSR fill level is approaching 60%.

Spacecraft Status

Detectors 3 and 6 are recording events. The cold tips are 126.1 and 124.3 K as of 17-Jan-2017. The cold plates, 1 and 2 are 152.1 and 150.6 K. Cryocooler power is steady at 75W, cryocooler efficiencies are 0.0279 and 0.0283. See:

http://sprg.ssl.berkeley.edu/~ayshih/soh/latest_temperatures.pdf

for a summary plot of recent temperatures, efficiencies and accelerometer values.

Attenuators are both commanded to be out.

Data Gaps

Data gap numbers are incomplete for 2017-02-12 to 2017-02-14; due to the SSR fill level we are slightly behind in data recovery.

Detector issues

Detectors 3 and 6 are powered on, and are recording events. On 2017-039 (Feb. 8), the D6 front fast threshold was raised from 0x70 to 0x80.

2017-039-20:11:12 /IDPUTABLE6 OFFSET=FRONTFASTDAC
2017-039-20:11:21 /IDPULOAD VALUE=0x80 ; was 0x70

Also the attenuator state thresholds were changed as follows:

% deadtime attenuator state
    0.00 Min A0
   19.22 Max A0
   15.69 Min A1
   21.18 Max A1
   14.90 Min A2
   29.02 Max A2
   16.47 Min A3
  100.00 Max A3
