Solar Activity

The Sun was very active produced a string X-flares this week!!

HSI_TOHBAN_FLARE_COUNTER: No RHESSI Flares for this time period

Below A5 the whole week, except today: a whopping B2 flare!

Memory Management

Ending at ~25% at end of pass set.

Spacecraft Status

Detectors 1, 3, 6 and 8 are active and taking data.

On Oct 16th, the thin attenuator came out. Background flux threshold (D3) for attenuator actuation has been increase 5%, and the attenuator came out. Perhaps a little more is needed, for margin?

Shadow lengths have reached peak of 35 mins. Should stay there for a couple of weeks.

Data Gaps

No data gaps of import between Oct 9 and Oct 16th included.

= Detector issues

D6f has a very low livetime (<10%). But it might be one of those temporary (few days) dip. Let's keep observing, to see if it gets back up.
