Solar Activity

Solar activity has increased in the past 24 hours. One C2.0 Class flare occurred at 18:21:00UTC. Two B-class flares (a B2.8 at 5/22/04:29 UT and a B8.9 at 5/22/14:47 UT) and also several A-class events were produced by a region beyond the east limb. During the last couple of hours, we have watched this limb region with some overlying loops visible. There is one small active region on disk, AR12710 that together with a tiny active region that has not been named are all active regions on disk today. There is also a set of plages close to the west limb. Further B-class events are expected with a chance of C-class activities in the next couple of days.

Memory Management

The SSR reached a maximum of ~97 percent on Monday. It has been "stable" during last week although at a really high level, approx. 92 percent.

Spacecraft Status

All detectors are offline, we are still annealing.

Colt tips The cold tip 1 and 2 temperatures are ~151.0K and 149.3K.

Currently, the Cryocooler power is ~38 W and the acceleration is at ~18.6mg.

Data Gaps

Temperatures

The general trend of the temperatures can be found here: http://sprg.ssl.berkeley.edu/~ayshih/soh/latest_temperatures.pdf

Detector issues

All detectors are off. We are still in annealing.

Other notes

We continue taking SAS data at high cadence this week.

Spacecraft Management

RHESSI's cooldown continues. The cryocooler power was bumped up to 38 W today at 142-19:42 UTC, accelerations remain around 20 mG. The cold plate and cold tip temperatures are dropping by 0.4 degrees C per orbit.

 Cryo Power: 38.2 W
 avg accel: 21.1 mG
 Cold Plate 1: 180.6 K
 Cold Plate 2: 179.3 K
 Cold Tip 1: 152.7 K
 Cold Tip 2: 150.8 K
 Shroud Temp: 198.3 K

We skip three hours of data last Monday to release some memory that was reaching maximum values. Two passes per day. Shadow length is increasing.
