Solar Activity

Quiet...

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 3 0 0 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 0 0 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 0 0 0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 1 / 3 over the time range 05-Dec-17 12-Dec-17

Memory Management

Decimation was active/vigorous for the full time period, with the SSR level now 57%.

Spacecraft Status

Detectors 1, 3, 6, and 8 are recording events. The cold tips are 133.9 and 132.1 K as of 11-Dec-2017. The cold plates, 1 and 2 are 160.2 and 158.8 K. Cryocooler power is 74.0W, cryocooler efficiencies are 0.0268 and 0.0272. See:

Detector issues

Detectors 1, 3, 6, and 8 are powered on, and are recording events. No threshold changes or HV changes this past week. The thin attenuator came in on 10-Dec-2017, at approximately 22:58. The attenuator dead time thresholds were changed on 12-Dec-2017, to take into account the increased G3 background deadtime (currently 30.6%). Both thick and thin attenuators came out after the increase. The commanding was done 2017-346-20:34:12 UTC.

The new thresholds are:

 0.00 Min A0
35.69 Max A0
32.16 Min A1
37.65 Max A1
31.37 Min A2
45.49 Max A2
32.94 Min A3
100.0 Max A3
