On Wednesday 14 December, the event telemetry during eclipses was disabled. The tohban also requested increasing the D9 front slow threshold from 0x15 to 0x30 but it was determined, during the Ops meeting, that it is not necessary. So the threshold remains at 0x15.

Solar Activity

Solar activity during the week continued at low levels. Currently, there is only one active region on disk, but it is expected to rotate off very soon.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 12 1 0 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 8 1 0 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 7 0 0 0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 19 / 13 over the time range 06-Dec-16 13-Dec-16

Memory Management

The SSR remained high, often >50 percent, with a minimum of 43% during the week.

Spacecraft Status

Detectors 3 and 9 are active and taking data. The cold plate 1 and 2 temperatures are 148.8 and 147.3.

Currently the Cryocooler power is ~86.54 W and the acceleration is at ~13.4mg

Detector issues

On December 12 (DOY 347), D3 rear fast threshold was raised for better livetimes.

16-347-16:52:42 /IDPULOAD VALUE=0xC0 ; was 0xB0
16-347-16:56:14 /IDPULOAD VALUE=0xD0 ; was 0xC0

On 12 December 2016, D9 front slow threshold was raised from 0x0C to 0x15 for a better SSR fill level. The front fast threshold was also raised for better livetimes.

2016-347-16:53:13 /IDPUTABLE9 OFFSET=FRONTFASTDAC
2016-347-16:53:23 /IDPULOAD VALUE=0x50 ; was 0x40
2016-347-16:54:14 /IDPUTABLE9 OFFSET=FRONTSLOWDAC
2016-347-16:54:19 /IDPULOAD VALUE=0x15 ; was 0x0C

On Wednesday 14 December, the event telemetry during eclipses was disabled. The tohban also requested increasing the D9 front slow threshold from 0x15 to 0x30 but it was determined, during the Ops meeting, that it is not necessary. So the threshold remains at 0x15.
