Spacecraft Instrumentation The NICE observatory features a self-contained science payload interfaced to an Orbital LEOStar-2/750 (GALEX,SORCE,AIM). Mass and power margins are both well above contingency. Other capabilities all have comfortable margins. NICE payload is a novel combination of intruments that are either direct copies or heavily based on previously flown spacecreaft instruementation.
