       Aircraft Position: 71.53 N  148.14 W
       Direction of flight: North
       Auroral Condition: The moon was starting to show in background airglow.
                          The auroral conditions were very quiet.  There was
                          a hint of an arc in the east which faded around
                          the time of conjunction.

              ASC: either diffuse aurora or moonlit sky
              AFT: no aurora
              FWD: no aurora
