Solar Activity

There are currently 10 active regions on disk. 3 will rotate off the limb in the next 24 hours. The recent flaring activity was produced by AR's 11226 and 11227 which are currently positioned at a latitude of ~-270 and will remain on disk for several days. STEREO B shows another couple of AR's which will rotate onto the disk within the next few days.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were     13    44     2     0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      7    35     2     0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were      6    18     0     0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 234 / 59 over the time range 25-May-11 01-Jun-11


RHESSI Operations

Decimation remained at normal/vigorous. Event data still being taken for 4 minutes at the start and end of eclipse. SSR fill is currently varying between 10-30% due to a lower number of RHESSI passes.

Data Gaps

Large data gap from 2011-05-26 23:50 - 2011-05-27 02:00. Files to be recovered.
