UC Berkeley Dormitory Accommodations

Campus housing is located located on 2650 Durant Avenue in Unit I, an easy walk to the Berkeley City Club (located at 2315 Durant Ave). Putnam Hall Main Lounge in Unit I is also the location of the ASOS10 poster session.

Package Rate for the Entire Meeting

$312 per person, double occupancy (includes $10.00 non-refundable processing fee)

$427 per person, single occupancy (includes $20.00 non-refundable processing fee)

These rates include: 5 nights of lodging and the following meals: Dinner on Tuesday, Aug 3; Breakfast and Lunch on Aug 4 - 7; Breakfast on Sunday, Aug 8, 2010. Meals are served at the Crossroads dining facility.

There is no credit for shorter stays or unused meal allotments.

Early Arrivals:

$61.00 per person, per night, single occupancy
$40.00 per person, per night, double occupancy

Early Arrivals will be accepted on a space-available basis for the night(s) of Monday, August 2; Sunday, August 1, 2010 and rates do not include meal service.

Deadline:

Guest housing reservation form deadline is Tuesday, July 13, 2010.

Guests are expected to pay in full by Tuesday, July 13, 2010.

Other details:

Internet: There is internet availability in the dorms, but it is wired and you should bring your own Ethernet cable for access. A port to plug in to is available but a cord is not supplied. Wireless internet will be provided at the conference site.

Room amenities: Bedding, towels, and soap are provided. Housekeeping exchanges guest towels and empties wastebaskets every other day; linen is exchanged once a week. Note that if needed, you should bring irons, hair dryers, clock radios, and umbrellas.

Lost or Not Returned Room Keys: Room keys lost during the Conference will be charged to the individual at the time of replacement at the cost of $50.00 per set.

Parking on Campus:

Parking permits to park long-term in lots across street from the residence halls are available for $14.00/day.

Check in:

The checkin/checkout desk for UNIT-I residences is located in the basement of Christian Hall. Here you will pick up your key upon you arrival. Click at the sequence of pictures below to locate the checkin desk. The desk is open until 11 pm. There is always someone on call after that. Please let us know, if you plan to arrive after 11 pm on your first day.
