The conference comprises three and a half days of invited talks, contributed talks, and poster presentations. Two half-day outings to locations in the greater San Francisco Bay Area will take place on Saturday afternoon and evening. The ASOS-10 Program Overview is given below. Important information for presenters:

All invited talks are 25 mins long plus 5 mins for questions, except Reviews, which are scheduled for 40 mins plus 5 mins. All contributed talks are 12 mins plus 3 mins for questions.

The poster boards will be 5 feet wide (about 150 cm). All poster presenters are encouraged to partake in the optional Poster Haiku Session: You have one minute and one (electronic) view graph to advertise your poster. See program and email from Greg Brown.

The poster session includes a tasting session of local wines lead by G.M. "Pooch" Pucilowski, Chief Judge and Consultant to the California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition. This event is, of course, open to accompanying persons.

Excursions:

Please click here for more information on the Bus trip to Muir Woods, Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, and Boat Ride across the Bay; and on the Visit to Lick Observatory atop Mount Hamilton. Please note that there is a separate charge to participate in the outings.
